of course, he violated the city law by doing over 80 on a street where it said speed limit was 45, its because of him his friend is paralyzed for life ( its no less then death )

yeah, he was driving very, very, very fast and there was alcohol involved. If he weren’t Hogans son he would gotten a few years.
The accident was an unfortunate event. However, it happened and something was BOUND to happen eventually given his careless attitude towards the law and other peoples well being.
I think that this stint in jail is what Nick needs. It’s unfortunate that this had to happen to teach Nick that the world is not his playground.
The judge said he deserves 8 months in jail, 5 years on probation, and no driver’s license for 3 years. Good enough for me.
